The climate change and energy transition discussion has become polarized. Yet there are those who believe climate change is serious but actionable with existing technologies, public pressure and government incentives.

WITHOUT LEAVING ANYONE BEHIND, the documentary by University of Calgary professor - and Canmore resident - Harrie Vredenburg and award-winning filmmaker Sylvester Ndumbi, takes viewers from Honolulu to London, from the Caribbean to Africa, from Harvard University to Oxford University and from Kerrobert Saskatchewan to Squamish British Columbia.

The film had its world premiere in the Caribbean’s Trinidad and Tobago last September. In December the film was screened in Dubai as an official United Nations event at COP28, the climate change conference. It was also screened at the World Petroleum Congress in Calgary and at film festivals and cinema venues in North America and Europe.

The screening will be followed by a 30-45 minute Q&A with Harrie and Sylvester.
